InselAir has officially launched a series of new flights out of its Curacao hub.

The carrier launched new service from Curacao to Georgetown, Guyana last week, following the addition of new flights from Curacao to Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Trinidad is the country’s 20th destination.

“We see an increasing demand from not only Curacao and Trinidad, but also from Aruba and Bonaire and from our destinations in Venezuela,” said Jurgen Lippinkoff, chief commercial officer of InselAir. “This is a good example of InselAir’s strategic hub function on Curacao. We are able to transport an increasing amount of passengers throughout the Pan American region due to the increasing scale of our network.”

The carrier launched service from Aruba to Guyana earlier this year.

“By adding direct flights from Curacao to Georgetown, our passengers from Georgetown will now have more options to enter InselAir’s extensive route network which will enable them to connect seamlessly to destinations such as Aruba, Bonaire, Miami, St. Maarten, Santo Domingo, Caracas, Las Piedras and Port-of-Spain,” Lippinkoff said.
