There’s a new resort on Punta Cana’s sands.

The adults-only all-inclusive resort Chic Punta Cana By Royalton opened recently with 323 suites and a raft of features designed to separate it from the other roughly 40 resorts in the Dominican Republic tourist mecca.

An in-pool DJ booth one-ups the standard swim-up pool bar, and an oxygen bar will offer a breath of fresh air to curious guests.

There’s free wi-fi throughout the resort, as well as unlimited in-room calls to North America and most of Europe using the hotel’s free mobile app. USB recharge stations and Bluetooth audio are standard in all rooms.

Visitors with deep pockets may also consider the six-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot, butler-serviced Chic Mansion, which has seven-bathrooms; a private pool and whirlpool; fully-stocked bar and lounge; a kitchen and dining room; and it’s own fire pit, wine cellar and pool table.

Guests staying in the Mansion enjoy access to CHIC Punta Cana, a 30-minute spa treatment, and the amenities of the hotel’s premium level, the Diamond Club.
