The Capella Marigot Bay resort in St Lucia is targeting Dec. 15 for its opening, according to the property’s Web site.
The hotel will feature 57 suites and 67 guestrooms and a special “Rum Cave,” along with an Auriga spa, among other features.
The property was formerly known as the Discovery Hotel; it was purchased in 2013 by a group of New York investors.
It’s one of two Capella properties set to open in the Caribbean in the near future, along with one on the Riviera Maya on Mexico’s Caribbean coast.
