Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue Coming to the Caribbean in 2015

The Caribbean’s largest mall will be debuting in 2015.

The Mall of San Juan, a two-story complex featuring both a 138,000-square-foot Nordstrom and a 100,000-square-foot Saks Fifth Avenue, is slated to debut March 26, 2015, according to the project’s Web site.

The project will be the first location on the island for both Nordstrom and Saks, and will feature a hotel and casino developed by New Century Development and more than 100 stores.

The mall is being developed by New Century Development and Taubman Centers.

The mall will be located across from the San Jose Lagoon, about five minutes from Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport.

Earlier this year, the mall named Manuel Vazquez its general manager.

The project first launched in 2012.
