New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony plays basketball to a Caribbean rhythm in the latest NBA commercial.

The spot, “Carmelo’s Ene-Be-A Rhythym,” is part of the NBA’s “Noche Latina” programme, which is going on throughout the month of March.

It features a Anthony on a basketball court dribbling along to a Caribbean drum beat, alongside a dancer.

Anthony, a native of Brooklyn, is the son of a Puerto Rican father and has worked hard to support his Puerto Rican heritage.

In 2012, he unveiled a new basketball court in Ciudad del Lago, Trujillo Alto, part of a number of new basketball courts he has funded across the United States and Puerto Rico.

Anthony, who actually has a tattoo of the flag of Puerto Rico on his hand, has funded or refurbished several other courts on the island.
