Caribbean Room With a View: On the Beach in St John

YOU WON’T have any trouble finding the beach.

It’s two easy steps — wake up, step out the front door.

It’s a Caribbean fantasy for many, but this kind of beach access is a reality at the Premium Beachfront rooms at St John’s Caneel Bay resort.

Each Premium Beachfront room is a single-level unit with a balcony that opens directly onto the beaches of the property.

Caneel Bay, located on Cruz Bay in St John, which recently became an independently managed property, is one of the signature resorts on nature-focused St John, around 60 percent of which is covered by parkland.

St John’s parks are a wonderful excursion —that is, if you ever make it off the beach.

Enjoy the view.
