American Airlines is expanding its service from Miami to Roatan to three times per week, the company announced.
Service between Miami and Roatan will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
American is also launching new nonstop service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Roatan, with new Saturday flights operated on a Boeing 737-800.
“We have served Honduras for more than two decades and are proud to increase our presence in the country and offer our customers even more routes and frequencies,” said Vernoa Osorto, American’s Country Manager for Honduras and Nicaragua.
American already operates two daily flights between Miami and San Pedro Sula in Honduras, and one daily flight from Miami to Tegucigalpa.
