US Coast Guard Recovers Two People From Crash of Small Plane in Bahamas

Two men were recovered by the Coast Guard Sunday following the crash of a small twin-engine aircraft near Staniel Cay in the Bahamas.

There were no reports of any injuries, and the Coast Guard said the cause of the crash was “under investigation.”

A Coast Guard aircrew from Clearwater, Fla. recovered the men following a report of the crash by the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Coast Guard launched an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter and located two men ashore, it said.

The men were recovered and transported to Nassau.
