Long Bay Beach Club Readies For Relaunch in Tortola

The former Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas in Tortola is set to reopen on Saturday as the new Long Bay Beach Club, Elite Island Resorts announced Thursday.

The British Virgin Islands property recently underwent a brief closure for renovations, along with a rebranding.

The 40-room resort’s remodeled offerings include the 1748 restaurant & bar, tennis courts, gift shop and reception area, among others.

The original pool and pool bar have been discontinued, with plans to add a new swimming pool by the middle of 2014.

The property is also adding a new massage treatment cabana near its beachfront rooms; that is set to open in November.
