Caribbean Home: High Above the Rooftops in San Juan

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 15, 2013

Turning a week-long vacation into a far longer stay. That’s the dream for many – a private home in the Caribbean. Our Caribbean Home feature gives you a chance to look at some of the most beautiful properties on the market today in the Caribbean — whether you’re looking to buy or simply seeking a photographic vacation.

The latest Caribbean Home takes you to a duplex penthouse condominium in the tony Miramar neighbourhood of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

This four-bedroom, four-bathroom penthouse towers over the rooftops of San Juan, with simply spectacular views. The party piece is the rooftop 1,200-square-foot terrace, with straightaway views to the ocean, lagoon and the San Juan cityscape.

The 7,200-square-foot property, listed by Puerto Rico Sotheby’s International Realty, has a total of nine rooms, with five terraces, seven parking spaces and luxurious touches from a powder room with “golden mother of pearl walls” to mosaic showers.

Why not take a permanent vacation to San Juan?
