Rum Journal: A Cocktail For Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach

By: - September 1st, 2013

It’s relatively new, but the Cayman Islands finally has its own rum distillery — Seven Fathoms Rum.

The rum, which the company says is actually aged underwater, is a welcome addition to the region’s rum industry — and rather tasty indeed.

While Cayman doesn’t have many of its own signature cocktails like other islands, Seven Fathoms has come up with some of its own, and we thought we’d share one with you to make your Sunday a little bit more relaxing.

It won’t get you all the way to Seven Mile Beach, but it’s a start.

Here’s the recipe for the Seven Mile Mule, courtesy of Seven Fathoms Rum:

3 parts Seven Fathoms Rum
– 4 parts Ginger Ale
– 1 Drop Angostura Bitters
– Garnish with Orange Wedge

Enjoy.
