The Cove, Eleuthera officially opened its doors this weekend in the Bahamas.

The resort closed after it suffered serious damage due to Hurricane Irene in the fall of 2011. It has added 26 new suites as part of the renovation.

The new-look resort has an oceanfront restaurant and bar, a new coffee shop called Bahama Bean and a new 110-foot infinity pool.

The property’s restaurant will be helmed by Ranier Wohrle.

It has also added a new Sunset Bar on the Point of the Cove, along with a fire pit and a new sun deck.

The property was purchased by Sidney Torres IV in the summer of 2012.

It is also reportedly adding a real estate component.

Martha Stewart was among the celebrities on hand for the property’s reopening this weekend.
