Dominican Republic, South Korea Look to Strengthen Trade Ties

Dominican Republic President Leonel Fernandez met Tuesday with South Korean Public Administration and Security Minister Maeng Hyung-kyu.

The Korean official is visiting the country to participate in a four-day-long “Dominican-Korean” initiative sponsored by the two countries’ Ministries of Public Administration.

The two sides discussed strengthening trade relations and friendship between the two countries.

Maeng was joined at the meeting by Dominican Republic Public Administration Minister Ramon Ventura Camejo.

There were a total of 18 officials at the meeting between the two states.
