Trinidad, UNDP Sign Agreement on National Corporate Responsibility Policy

Trinidad and Tobago signed an agreement Monday with the United Nations Development Programme on the adoption of a national corporate responsibility policy in the country.

Trinidad Trade Minister Stephen Cadiz signed the agreement on behalf of the government of Trinidad, and Dr Marcia De Castro, UNDP resident representative in Trinidad signed on behalf of the world body.

Cadiz was joined by UNDP Representative Jens-Ulrich Poppen and Sheryl-Anne Hynes, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

UNDP Administrator Helen Clark arrived in Trinidad yesterday for an official visit surrounding the launch of the first Caribbean Human Development Report.
