Property and development consultancy BCQS is opening an office in Trinidad and Tobago, the firm announced today.

“Given our Caribbean-wide footprint, and the importance of Trinidad and Tobago’s economy within the region, we determined some time ago that a physical presence within the country was critical to our overall growth strategy,” said BCQS Managing Director Liam Day.

The firm appointed Ken Callender as manager of its Trinidad operations.

“My joining BCQS International is symbiotic, as part of the transformation process towards a borderless CARICOM territory,” Callender said in a release.

Callender pointed to a recent speech by Trinidad Minister of Finance Winston Dookeran outlining a series of new construction projects in the country as potential avenues for the company.

BCQS, which was established in 1969 and his headquartered in Grand Cayman, has locations throughout the Caribbean.
