Bahamas, China Meet on Infrastructure

Chinese Ambassador to the Bahamas Hu Shan met today with Bahamian Works and Transport Minister Neko Grant at Grant’s office in Nassau. China and the Bahamas have been partnering on a series of building initiatives, including the new $30 million National Stadium which China handed over to the Bahamas in June. The Bahamas is in the midst of a large-scale infrastructure programme, which includes an overhaul of the road system on the island of New Providence, and several works initiatives in Abaco and Exuma, both of which include Chinese cooperation.
