Bahamas’ Worker’s Party Dissolves, Joins Democratic National Alliance

The Bahamian Worker’s Party, which was formed 35 years ago, will be dissolving and merging with the new Democratic National Alliance, headed by Bamboo Town MP Branville McCartney. “We have been in the field for over 30 years,” said Rodney Moncur, leader of the party. “We are prepared to submit to a leader who will lead based on principle, based on the best interests of the nation.” [Nassau Tribune]
