There’s a New Waterpark at Cayman’s Kimpton Seafire Resort

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - June 9, 2022

If you have kids, particularly younger ones, you know that a waterpark is one of the best amenities a resort can offer.

And now one of the Cayman Islands’ top resorts has added precisely that.

It’s called SPLASH at Seafire, with water-filled play areas designed for “children of all ages and abilities,” according to the resort.

“SPLASH is a major addition to Seafire’s already robust selection of kid-friendly amenities,” said Steven Andre, Kimpton Seafire’s General Manager. “The new waterpark is designed to give our young guests a fun, fully interactive experience that they’ll never forget

The Seafire team says the park offers “self-directed discovery in an imagination-sparking aquatic environment complemented by the Cayman Islands’ native flora and fauna.”

The focus is on education and entertainment, the team says, with everything from musical “Dance Chimes” to the “spinning rock,” a dolomitic limestone boulder that kids can manipulate with the touch of a finger.

It’s part of a broader family-friendly offering at the resort, including the Camp Seafire kids-only zone to the kid-friendly Seafire Pool.
