San Juan Marriott Debuts $2.9 Million New-Look Event Space

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 11, 2021

The San Juan Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino has debuted a new-look ballroom and foyer area to the property.

The redesign is the product of a $2.9 million investment financed by development firm XLD Group.

“The new 7,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom will enhance the natural charm of the destination with its wood elements, a combination of organic textures and abstract art installation to homage the Puerto Rican landscape, which will be the perfect back drop for any celebration or event,” said José González, General Manager at San Juan Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino.

The new foyer has three “dynamic zones,” with an adaptable pre-function area.

The resort has a total of 14,000 square feet of meeting space for business meetings and social functions.

The venue has a state-of-the-art lighting design system with LED-RGB technology, new audiovisual arrangements and a new Wi-Fi conference system.

Marriott is in the midst of a new meetings push as part of an initiative called The Future Is Now.
