J Balvin Is Coming to Punta Cana

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 11, 2021

Colombian music superstar J Balvin is coming to Punta Cana.

Balvin is set to bring his NEON weekend events to Punta Cana in December, following a sell out of three NEON music festival weekends in Las Vegas in September.

The NEON weekend will be held at the Melia Punta Cana Beach Resort from Dec. 8-12 in the Dominican Republic.

The event is a “multi-day musical journey curated by Balvin himself,” according to organizers.

It will include performances by Puerto Rican rapper and singer Rauw Alejandro, Panamanian vocalist Sech, reggaeton and latin trap artist Arcángel, Latin dancer and world-class choreographer turned rapper and film actor Nio Garcia, Miami-born American singer Mariah Angeliq, Puerto Rican musical duo Zion & Lennox, Argentine singer Cazzu and more.

NEON will feature everything from pool parties to night swims to after parties and a headlining show by J Balvin on the beach on the final night.

Tickets will launch July 14.
