The Park Hyatt St Kitts Is Reopening in November

By: Alexander Britell - October 28, 2020

One of the Caribbean’s most celebrated luxury resorts is making its return in November, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Park Hyatt St Kitts will be reopening to guests on Nov. 1, the property confirmed.

The reopening comes as St Kitts and Nevis is set to reopen its borders to international tourism on Oct. 31.

“With safety and wellbeing in mind, we are listening to our guests and colleagues and working to implement new experiences that will help reimagine the Park Hyatt St. Kitts journey,” said Marc Schneider, General Manager of the Park. Hyatt St Kitts. “The most important element of welcoming back guests is doing it safely, and we are going beyond cleaning to advance care across our entire hotel experience for guests, World of Hyatt loyalty members and colleagues.”

The property, which is the only Park Hyatt resort in the wider Caribbean region, is relaunching under Hyatt’s recently-announced Global Care and Cleanliness Commitment, the product of consultations between Hyatt, the Cleveland Clinic and other “trusted industry advisors.”

That includes everything from enhanced digital amenities on the World of Hyatt App to a focus on “the luxury of space,” with reimagined on and off-property experiences from yoga to private excursions.

The Park Hyatt St Kitts was named Caribbean Hotel of the Year in 2018 in the Caribbean Travel Awards, just a year after opening for the first time.

The resort was the first Caribbean project for Range Developments, the company behind the new Kempinski and Dominica and the in-development Six Senses Grenada.
