Marriott will soon be launching a brand-new hotel in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The new, 152-room Aloft Ponce will be the second Aloft-branded hotel in Puerto Rico and the second Aloft hotel in the wider Caribbean when it opens in October.

The hotel has not revealed a specific opening date in the month.

Amenities will range from an outdoor splash pool to free Wi-Fi to four business meeting rooms. 

The launch follows the February 2020 debut of the Aloft San Juan, the brand’s first entry to the Caribbean market. 

Perhaps most importantly, it’s Marriott’s first new opening in the Caribbean since the beginning of the pandemic.
