The Hyatt Regency Aruba Is Open Again

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 13, 2020

The Hyatt Regency Aruba has officially reopened its doors, Caribbean Journal confirmed.

The Palm Beach-area beach resort has relaunched following a multimillion-dollar renovation project.

The changes to the property include the addition of a new adult-only pool with 10 cabanas; a new spa called ZoiA and two new outdoor dining options.

The latter include a new “Dining Under the Stars” program, along with the addition of dinner at the resort’s Piet’s Pier Bar.

The property has also appointed a new “Wellness and Wellbeing Manager,” leading experiences focused on wellness and mindfulness, ranging from beach yoga to meditation.

The resort’s casino has gotten a new look for the COVID age, too, with 44 new machines “all strategically placed throughout the venue,” according to the property.

“We are excited to welcome guests back to Hyatt Regency Aruba after our multimillion-dollar renovation. We have worked tirelessly over the last few months to reimagine the resort to meet the needs of today’s travelers and offer the seamless experience the Hyatt Regency brand is known for,” said Gabriel Castrillon, the resort’s general manager. “We have added new experiences and modified some of the existing activities to ensure that guests feel confident in our care while visiting our resort.”

Aruba has been open for tourism since earlier this summer; for more on the destination’s health and safety entry protocols see here.
