Le Sereno St Barth Is Reopening Dec. 1

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - October 18, 2018

By the Caribbean Journal staff

This season is expected to be one of the busiest on St Barth in years, in large part due to the timed relaunch of the vast majority of the island’s leading hotels.

Another property reopening this winter? The luxe boutique Le Sereno, which has announced plans to reopen Dec. 1.

The property has completely rebuilt more than half the property, including more than half the rooms and all public spaces.

The Grand Cul de Sac-area hotel has also rebuilt its entire Bungalow Piscine room category, including the addition of three new rooms; added new waterfront Grand Suite Plage Sud rooms; completely redesigned the restaurant and bar (including a new beach restaurant extension), along with a brand-new spa.

The total room count at Le Sereno has increased to 39 rooms.

“We are thrilled and eager to welcome back familiar faces and new guests to Le Sereno and we have been touched by the outpouring of support after Hurricane Irma,” said Samy Ghachem, managing director of Sereno Hotels. “Le Sereno has always been known as the most stylish hotel in St. Barth, and we are pleased to raise the bar in the Caribbean yet again. Of course, our signature approach to relaxed luxury and attentive service will remain the same.”

The property has additionally opened a new on-site retail boutique specializing in menswear brand Larusmiani out of Milan.
