Resort company Iberostar says all of its properties in the Dominican Republic are fully operational after the passage of Hurricane Maria.

“None of our Dominican Republic IBEROSTAR locations suffered any damage during the storm, and locations in Punta Cana/Bavaro reported only rain, winds and high tide,” the company said in a statement. “Guests can now make use of all our services.”

The announcement comes after Punta Cana’s airport relaunched operations on Thursday.

“We also remain in close contact with local and national authorities to address and provide any information regarding our measures to keep guests and employees safe,” the company said.

Iberostar operates six resorts in Bavaro, Puerto Plata and Bayahibe.
