Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort is inviting guests to participate in the new Hawksbill Turtle Experience.

The private island, located off the coast of Antigua, is host to the longest-running privately funded hawksbill sea turtle research program in the world.

In conjunction with the Jumby Bay Hawksbill Project, the resort is offering families an immersive, five-day experience this summer.

Ideal for parents preparing to send children to send school in the fall, the Early Nester Packages includes a variety of family-friendly activities, from guided tours and excursions to hands-on activities that allow guests to take an active part in the island’s conservation efforts while also learning about the island’s wildlife populations and enjoying its natural surroundings.

The package includes five nights, with the option to add additional days; a private excursion with a turtle expert and the chance to see nesting mothers and their hatchlings; a nightly “turtle watch” to see the turtle eggs being laid; a private snorkeling trip to learn more about coral reefs that protect turtle nests; beach maintenance to ensure a healthy and productive nesting environments; and a private family dinner on the beach.
