Elegant Is Expanding to Antigua, St Lucia

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 16, 2017

Elegant Hotels Group is expanding in the Caribbean.

The hotel company, which has a collection of six luxury hotels in Barbados, has announced the signing of a marketing and sales agreement with The Landings in St. Lucia and is also planning an entry to Antigua.

Elegant Hotels will be providing The Landings with a range of services across sales, marketing, revenue management and public relations.

Elegant is also opening the Hodges Bay Resort & Spa by Elegant Hotels in Antigua, slated to open in October, part of a major new beachfront resort development on the island.

“The Landings Resort and Spa is a beautiful property and we are thrilled to welcome it into our family of Elegant Hotels,” said Sunil Chatrani, CEO of Elegant Hotels Group. “The setting, dining options, facilities and accommodation will perfectly complement what we offer our guests in Barbados, and later this year Antigua, and we are genuinely excited to be expanding into the island of St. Lucia for the first time.”

The Landings, which has been renamed The Landings Resort and Spa by Elegant Hotels, is located on a 19-acre site with its own private marina on a stretch of beachfront in Rodney Bay.

The Landings features 85 villa suites featuring either ocean, beachfront or private marina views.

Elegant’s Barbados hotels include The House, Colony Club, Tamarind, Turtle Beach, Crystal Cove and its newest Barbados property, The Waves.
