AMResorts Opens New Hotel in the Caribbean

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 16, 2016

The Dominican Republic has a new family-friendly all-inclusive.

AMResorts’ new Now Onxy Punta Cana has debuted in Punta Cana, the brand’s third resort in the area.

The hotel, which is located in Uvero Alto, includes 502 suites.

“The Dominican Republic continues to stand out in Caribbean travel, and the island is expected to welcome six million visitors by the end of this year,” said Gonzalo del Peòn, President of AMResorts. “The strength of the Dominican Republic tourism market presented an ideal scenario to not only expand our footprint in the region, but also increase our family-friendly offering in an idyllic destination where guests can relax, be entertained and enjoy a memorable vacation.”

The property includes five pools including an infinity pool, children’s pool and saltwater pool.

The resort also features nine restaurants and 10 bars, along with the company’s Sip, Savor & See program, which gives guests the opportunity to enjoy dining options at the nearby Dreams and Now resorts.
