Jamaica-based tour operator Island Routes is bringing some sass to the safety video with a musical version that debuted on board the company’s new fleet of buses this week.

Written, produced and performed by a Jamaican creative team including Yasha, Onaje Bell and Grasshopper Productions, the video took five months to produce and was shot in Sandals Resorts’ private airplane hangar in Montego Bay.

When we were tasked with producing a bus safety video, we didn’t want it to be one of the standard videos that bores everyone, we wanted something exciting and engaging,” said Ryan Terrier, Vice President of Operations. “We are extremely proud to provide the highest safety standards in the Caribbean, but we’re also all about fun, and that’s what we want our customers to remember when they travel with Island Routes.”

Island Routes currently offers experiences in Antigua; the Bahamas; Barbados; the Cayman Islands; Jamaica; St Lucia; Grenada; the Turks & Caicos Islands; the Dominican Republic; St. Maarten; and Aruba.
