LIAT will reintroduce services between Antigua and Santo Domingo beginning Dec. 15, 2015, the regional carrier announced.

The airline will offer three flights a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

“We are pleased to be flying back into Santo Domingo,” said David Evans, CEO of LIAT.  “There has been much demand for this service, and we have listened to our customers.  We are delighted to be able to reintroduce the service in mid-December, which allows our customers to make plans to travel home for Christmas.”

LIAT has appointed General Air Services as its General Sales Agent for the territory.

“We are extremely happy that LIAT has decided to operate into Santo Domingo once again,” said Gustavo A. de Hostos, General Air Services President and CEO.  “There are many people who want to travel around the Caribbean and this provides them with the opportunity to do so with the wide range of connections that LIAT offers from its hub in Antigua.”
