A new inn has broken ground in Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company announced this week.

The new project is called Rincon Ojo de Agua, a 16-room project that will be located in the area of Rincon on the west coast of the island.

The project will mean an investment of $3.8 million and the creation of 60 construction jobs.

“The network of inns of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company contributes to the revitalization of the economy spaces and urban centers of the towns of the island,” said Ingrid Rivera Rocafort, executive director of the PRTC. “These contribute to the diversification of the tourist product of Puerto Rico inns highlighting the best of our streets, architecture, monuments, theaters, museums, restaurants and everyday life.”

All inns under Puerto Rico’s posada program revolve around a certain design theme; in this case, the theme is “water.”

The property will include a restaurant, pool, concession area, meeting rooms and terraces.
