It’s the largest underwater sculpture in the world, and it’s now just below Nassau in the Bahamas.

The 18-foot-tall, 60-ton female sculpture is located off Nassau’s west coast.

It’s called Ocean Atlas, and it’s the latest work by underwater sculpture pioneer Jason deCaires Taylor, whose opened two underwater sculpture parks in the Caribbean in Cancun and Grenada.

The sculpture was inserted into the water at the beginning of this month.

DeCaires, whose father is English and whose mother hails from Guyana, created what was the world’s first underwater sculpture park in Grenada in 2006.

The Cancun collection debuted later as the Museo Subacuatico de Arte, which includes 500 of his sculptural works.

The Nassau sculpture is actually part of a coral reef garden that includes several works of art.
