The northeastern Caribbean was shaken on Monday by its second earthquake since Saturday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake’s epicentre was 60 kilometres northeast of Stoney Ground, Anguilla, occurring at 7:33 PM local time. That is about 158 kilometres north of Basseterre, St Kitts and 204 kilometres north-northwest of St John’s Antigua.

It occurred at a depth of about 25 kilometres, according to the USGS.

Saturday’s tremor was felt across the northeastern Caribbean, from St Maarten to Guadeloupe (where Monday’s quake was also felt).

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

Last year, Anguilla was shaken by a 5.1-magnitude quake about seven kilometres east-southeast of Anguilla.
