BHP Billiton has begun drilling gas at its Agostura Project off the coast of Trinidad and Tobago. According to CEO Michael Yeager, the platform has a design capacity of 280 million cubic feet of gas per day. BHP has a 45 percent interest in the Greater Angostura Field, along with joint venture partners Total (which has a 30 percent interest) and Chinese firm Chaoyang. [Trading Room]
