Haiti’s Lamothe Congratulates Czech Republic’s Zeman on Victory

Haiti Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe is extending “warm congratulations” to newly-elected Czech Republic President Milos Zeman.

Zeman, who served as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from 1998 to 2002, won the country’s election on Saturday.

In a statement, Lamothe said he believed Zeman’s election was a “guarantee for building on the successful relationships that already exists between the two countries.”

Haiti’s Prime Minister pledged to continue its cooperation “on the best terms” with the Czech Republic.
