After reports emerged this morning that Haitian singer and onetime presidential candidate Wyclef Jean had been shot in the hand the morning of the presidential elections, police are saying he was injured by glass. “The way I can explain it is that the bullet grazed me in my right hand,” Jean said. “I heard blow, blow, blow and I just looked at my hand.” Vanel Lacroix, police chief in Petionville, said that had not been the case. “We met with the doctor who saw him and he confirmed Wyclef was cut by glass,” he said.
