Jamaica is building quite a medal collection in London.
Jamaica won its latest sprinting gold medal with a victory in the 4x100m women’s relay final Friday.
Jamaica’s squad included 100-metre gold medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, 100-metre bronze medalist Veronica Campbell Brown, Sherone Simpson and Kerron Stewart.
The US team won gold with a world-record time of 40.82. Jamaica’s time of 41.41 was a national record, however.
Taking the bronze was the Ukraine, which finished in 42.04 seconds.
The win gave Jamaica its 10th medal of the Games.
