The Ultimate All-Inclusive Couples Vacation in the Dominican Republic

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 3, 2024

Michelin-star chefs. World-class golf. There isn’t any event in the world quite like Epicurea, the buzzing food festival at the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic.

Epicurea is, as the resort likes to put it, “a golf event for those who love food.”

That means four nights in La Romana with outstanding food, receptions, dinners and some of the best golf on the planet.

This year’s event runs March 3-10, and Casa de Campo has a special package aimed at creating the ultimate all-inclusive couples vacation.

The chef lineup features Michael Anthony of the Michelin-starred Gramercy Tavern; Alex Lee, former executive chef at Daniel in New York City; Esther Ha of the two-Michelin-star Momofuku Ko; and Bryan Nouri, whose career includes stops at The Old Homestead, Restaurant Daniel, Cafe Boulud, Le Bernardin, Piccoline and Eleven Madison Park.

The Epicurea package includes one superior casita room; all meals and drinks at resort-allocated eateris and bars; one round at Teeth of the Dog; One round at Dye Fore; a welcome reception; three chef-led dinners by top chefs like the Michelin-starred Chef Michael Anthony of New York’s Gramercy Tavern; and round-trip transfers.

Epicurea is hard to beat as a couples vacation — whether you’re doing the all-inclusive package or not — as is Casa de Campo itself, including its Caribbean-leading wellness offering, anchored by a new 18,000-square foot destination spa.
