This St Croix All-Inclusive Has a New General Manager
St Croix’s top all-inclusive resort has named a new general manager, Caribbean Journal has learned. The island’s adults-only Divi Carina Bay Beach Resort & Casino and Oceans has appointed Raul Urbina as General Manager.
Urbina is a native of the Bay Islands of Honduras.
“From personalized service to innovative amenities, I aim to craft a stay that makes Divi Carina Bay and Oceans at Carina Bay the ultimate destinations for relaxation and unforgettable vacations,” Urbina said in a statement.
Urbina says his passion is in leading complex Food and Beverage operations, with a background that includes working with high-volume luxury beach resorts in Florida and California.
His previous stops include the W South Beach in Miami, The Waldorf Astoria Naples, The Don Cesar in St. Pete Beach and Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort, among others.
The Divi Carina Bay reopened in 2022 after a dramatic transformation that converted the property into an adults-only all-inclusive resort. The resort has also added a special hotel-within-a-hotel called Oceans at Divi Carina Bay, one of two Oceans-branded hotels (the other is at the Little Bay resort in St Maarten).
