Air Canada Is Adding Spring and Summer Flights to Grenada

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 23, 2024

Air Canada is adding what will amount to year-round flights to the tri-island destination of Grenada, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The carrier will be operating continuous service to Grenada, after a four-year hiatus.

The new service will be operating once weekly on Saturdays, beginning April 6, 2024, with flights extending through Oct. 31, 2024.

Flights will depart Toronto at 9:35 AM, landing in Grenada at 3 PM. The return trip will take off at 4 PM and arrive in Toronto at 9:40 PM.

“We are excited to introduce year-round services in partnership with Air Canada, providing Canadian travelers more access to the unspoiled beauty of Grenada,” shared Petra Roach, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority. “This expansion not only underscores our commitment to position Grenada as a premier vacation destination but also addresses the growing demand for tourism in our country. The return of year-round direct service by Air Canada to Grenada reflects a positive step in strengthening air transport relations between the airline and our nation, marking a pivotal moment in reinforcing the ties that bind our two regions.”

The expanded Air Canada service comes as Grenada continue to see tourism growth, including the highly-anticipated debut this year of a pair of new hotels: Beach House by Silversands and the first-ever Six Senses resort in the Caribbean on La Sagesse beach.
