The Nickelodeon Hotels and Resorts Punta Cana resort is undergoing a renovation, Karisma Hotels and Resorts announced. 

The family-friendly property is adding new culinary concepts and an expansion of its popular Aqua Nick waterpark. 

That’s along with updates to the resort’s “immersive features.”

The first phase of the renovation will be unveiled this spring, with two new additions: the Snick Lounge, a “90s-inspired space” with an arcade game room, a sports lounge and live music. 

The resort is also unveiling a new coffee-and-ice cream bar called The Sweetery.

Later this year, the resort will add a new main entry, two pools with a slide tower and splash games to the Aqua Nick park.
