4 Resorts For An All-Inclusive Caribbean Summer Vacation

By: Alexander Britell - April 12, 2023

It begins, if you’re lucky, with a green flash. That moment when the setting yellow sun meets the blue of the Caribbean horizon and, for a privileged few, seems to cause a momentary burst of green light.

Then there’s that welcoming breeze, the warm Caribbean air, and a twilight glass of rum.

There’s just nothing like a summer night in the Caribbean.

And now one top Caribbean resort company is looking to make it easier to enjoy the art of the summer night.

Elite Island Resorts calls it “Summer Nights,” and it’s a new program that gives travelers their first night free for summer trips with a minimum of a three-night stay.

“We want everyone to experience that nostalgia that is a summer night on their vacation and make it as simple as possible to jump on a plane and get away,” says Rob Barrett, CEO of Elite Island Resorts. “Your first night is on us.”

The program includes vacations at top all-inclusive resorts including the adults-only Pineapple Beach Club; the St James’ Club and Villas; and the Verandah Resort and Spa, along with The Club in Barbados.

St James’s Club and Villas: This resort is all about the water, with six pools and a pair of magnificent beaches on a rarefied peninsula in Antigua. The family-friendly resort also has a kids; club, a spa and a broad offering of paddle sports that includes both tennis and pickleball.

The Verandah Resort and Spa This might just be the most relaxing resort in all of Antigua set on 30 lush tropical acres at the edge of a national park. There are five pools, five eateries, a mini-golf course, tennis courts and a broad selection of watersports you can enjoy in a protected bay: think sailing, paddleboarding or even pedal-boating.

The Club, Barbados Set on the beautiful west coast of Barbados, this adults-only resort (open to travelers 16+) is the essence of the Barbados resort: elegant, relaxed and full of activity, whether you’re in the world-class spa or enjoying a classic Bajan rum tasting.

Because there’s nothing like a summer night in the Caribbean. Or a week of them.
