New Flights From Aruba and Curacao to Bonaire

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - December 20, 2022

Regional carrier Jetair Caribbean is adding a pair of major new segments to the island of Bonaire, meaning significantly enhanced air access to the destination.

Beginning in February, Jetair will be running two flights per week from both Aruba and Curacao to Bonaire.

Jetair is operating both routes on 70-seat jet aircraft.

While the move enhances air connectivity for residents of the ABC islands, it also opens up Bonaire to the international flights that serve both Aruba and Curacao.

“We are very pleased to announce yet another destination in our network and most importantly completing the connection between the ABC islands,” said Robert Maas, CEO of Jetair Caribbean.

The flight time between Aruba and Bonaire is about 50 minutes, while flights from Curacao to Bonaire are about 25 minutes.

“This is great news and will support our inter-island connectivity. We see this as a great opportunity to offer more connections to both our local/inter island and international visitors,” said Miles B M Mercera, CEO of Tourism Corporation Bonaire.

Flights will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays.
