Hyatt Just Opened a New “Level” of All-Inclusive in Playa del Carmen

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - December 5, 2022

Hyatt Hotels has made another high-profile addition to its Inclusive Collection.

The company’s Secrets brand has debuted the new Secrets Impression Moxche Playa del Carmen, which opened its doors this week.

The new resort is part of Secrets’ elevated Impression brand, with “awe-inspiring getaways complemented by a carefully curated romantic ambiance and heightened level of service,” according to Hyatt.

Hyatt says Secrets Impression is the “highest level of luxury all-inclusive service and amenities” in its portfolio.

The resort is set within Playa del Carmen’s gated Corasol community, with three suite categories ranging from two-story oceanfront penthouses to master suites and signature suites.

Every guest is assigned a personal butler prior to arrival.

“The launch of Secrets Impression reflects Hyatt’s commitment to offering best-in-class, all-inclusive resort experiences. This new concept focuses on the two most important aspects guests look for when booking their stay: service level and experiences, to ensure every moment is set to leave a lasting impression,” said Gonzalo del Peón, Group President of AMResorts Americas and Global Commercial.

Executive Chef Mario Blanco is leading the culinary program at the property, overseeing three signature restaurants, including an open terrace bar and a seaside beach club.

In all, there are 14 dining options when combined with the adjacent Secrets Moxche. Private in-room dining is also available 24 hours.

Master Chef Karla Encisco, an expert in Mayan culture, helps to design what Secrets calls the “culturally rich dining,” said Erica Doyne, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing at Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection.

“Secrets Impression Moxché presents a truly personalized stay, unlike anything else available in the all-inclusive resort space. The purposefully curated programming, gourmet dining and high-end design further raise traveler expectations.”

Secrets is part of the AMR Collection and Apple Leisure Group, which were acquired by Hyatt last year.
