By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 9, 2022

The highly-anticipated Bahamas Culinary and Arts Festival is set for Oct. 21-23 at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau.

The first-ever edition of the festival will be headlined by celebrity chefs Daniel Boulud, Marcus Samuelsson and Dario Cecchini.

All three chefs have their own eateries at the Baha Mar, with Boulud’s Cafe Boulud, Samuelsson’s Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop House and Cecchini’s Carna.

The festival will also included a major focus on art, led by legendary Bahamian artist John Cox.

The three-day event will include intimate chef events, cooking demos, art exhibitions and live performances.

The event will kick off with a welcome beach party at the Baha Bay lagoon, with a two-day Expo on Saturday and Sunday with live entertainment, artist talks and an art exhibition called “Defying Tropicality.”

The festival will also be launching a new exhibition called ECCHO, Expressive Collaborations and Creative House of Opportunities.
