The Park Hyatt St Kitts, the island’s leading resort, has named a new executive chef, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The property has tapped Lucas Curio Perez for the role, in which he will oversee the hotel’s three signature eateries: The Great House, The Fisherman’s Village and The Stone Barn.
Perez comes to the property after having served most recently as the Executive Chef at the Park Hyatt Jakarta, where he led the launch of the property’s food and beverage programming.
Previous stops have included the Four Seasons Resort Carmelo and the Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina in Bogota.
“Chef Perez has made a name for himself in luxury kitchens across the globe,” said Marc Schneider, General Manager of Park Hyatt St. Kitts. “His commitment to local and sustainable food sourcing, paired with his forward-thinking and innovative approach will suit him well as he establishes a new vision for our culinary program.
