The Martinique Tourism Authority is planning a virtual travel show next month, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Martinique Travel Show, which will be held May 18 to 20, will be the first ever virtual international trade show in Martinique for the travel industry.

The aim is to help tour operators, travel agents and media learn more about the latest destination developments and need, according to the Martinique T

Tourism Authority.

“Visitors will be invited to explore a whole virtual universe,” the MTA said.

That will include one-on-one meetings, virtual booths and virtual “worlds,” including in-depth looks at Martinique staples like rhum, Yole sailing and gastronomy.
