The Cove at Atlantis to Reopen in The Bahamas in February

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - December 18, 2020

The Cove at Atlantis, the most luxurious hotel within the Atlantis Paradise Island portfolio, is planning to relaunch in February, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Cove will be reopening to guests on Feb. 11, 2021.

The property, set between two beaches on Paradise Island, has a total of 600 suites, all with balconies and floor-to-ceiling ocean views.

Atlantis Paradise Island began its phased reopening in the first week of December with a relaunch headlined by the return of its signature hotel, The Royal.

“We are thrilled to be reopening The Cove Atlantis and re-introducing this elegant, sensorial retreat to our returning guests as well as new guests. Those looking for a redefined luxury getaway complete with white-glove Bahamian service, exclusive amenities, suite accommodations with breathtaking ocean views, private beach access, and a true oasis to relax and reconnect with their loved ones will find it all at The Cove,” said Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director, Atlantis Paradise Island, in a statement. “We look forward to debuting upgrades and experiences in the months ahead so guests can create new once-in-a-lifetime memories and immerse themselves in our authentic Bahamian culture.

The hotel also announced the creation of a “Paradise Island Safe Zone,” an initiate undertaken in partnership with other hotels and attractions on the island including Atlantis Paradise Island, Ocean Club Golf Course, The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, and Comfort Suites.

Registered guests of Paradise Island Safe Zone properties will be able to access all three properties; dining options, retail shops, spa, golf, the Marina Village and the Atlantis Casino, among others.
