British Airways Relaunches Heathrow-Barbados Flights

British Airways just relaunched its service from London Heathrow to Barbados, completing the first Heathrow-Barbados flights in more than 15 years.

The new service will operate daily, year-round, operated on a Boeing 777-200 aircraft.

“We were so excited to welcome the inaugural British Airways flight from Heathrow to Barbados,” said Cheryl Carter, Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc’s Director for the UK.

The inaugural flight was more than 80 percent full, according to tourism officials.

The new flights will supplement existing daily flights to Barbados from London Gatwick, which run through April 2021.
