Palace Resorts to Reopen All-Inclusive Mexico Hotels in June

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 18, 2020

Prominent all-inclusive resort company Palace Resorts is reopening its hotels in Mexico.

The company will be reopening its resorts in the country on June 1, a Palace Resorts spokesperson confirmed to Caribbean Journal

That includes both the company’s Palace-branded and Le Blanc Spa Resorts-branded properties — a total of seven resorts across Mexico in a pair of popular destinations like Cancun, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Isla Mujeres and Los Cabos.

The reopenings will come with a newly-launched safety and cleanliness initiative, dubbed Purely Palace and Purely Le Blanc, which will focus on “enhanced preventive actions across all points of contact, going above and beyond the stringent measures already in place.”

“Along with a dedicated quality control team, Palace Resorts and Le Blanc Spa Resorts will adhere to the strictest sanitary standards to prevent the spread of all illnesses, including limiting hotel occupancy, practicing social distancing, removing buffets, and much more,” the company said.

Palace’s portfolio also includes the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande; that property will reopen once Jamaica reopens its borders to tourism.

The company has a total of nine hotels in Mexico.
